Programme: Programme "Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises" 2021-2027

Planning region: All

Description

The current project aims to increase energy efficiency and implement technologies for the production of energy from renewable sources in "EKOSTROY" Ltd by building a photovoltaic power plant with a capacity of 100 kW for its own consumption. The investment includes the supply and installation of high-efficiency solar panels, inverters, mounting structures, wiring, electrical panels and a control and monitoring system, ensuring long-term and reliable operation.

The production process of the enterprise is energy-intensive, especially for the functioning of the concrete plant, which leads to high electricity costs and directly affects the cost of production and competitiveness. For this reason, the main need of the company is to reduce its dependence on external suppliers and ensure predictable and sustainable energy costs.

The implementation of the project will lead to:
- reduction of electricity costs and improvement of energy efficiency;
- optimization of production costs and strengthening of competitive advantages;
- limitation of the carbon footprint by using clean energy from the sun;
- sustainable development through modernization and introduction of environmentally friendly technologies.

The project proposal meets the need for energy independence and sustainable production, bringing long-term economic and environmental benefits. Securing a significant part of the energy through its own production will reduce greenhouse gas emissions and support the implementation of the commitments of Bulgaria and the EU for the transition to a low-carbon economy. In addition, the project will strengthen the resilience of "EKOSTROY" Ltd. to energy crises, improve cost predictability and support the establishment of an environmentally responsible business model.
