"Auto Tashevi" EOOD is an established transport company based in the town of Petrich, with main economic activity under NACE 49.41 - Freight road transport. The company transports goods in the country and abroad, serving clients from various economic sectors. The company has its own fleet of vehicles, a garage-repair facility and an administrative building, from which operational management, logistics and maintenance of vehicles are carried out. Transport activities are energy-intensive, and in addition to fuels, a significant share of the costs is taken up by electricity costs - for lighting, maintenance of service areas, chargers, office equipment and cooling systems. In conditions of unstable energy prices and the need for sustainable development, the company plans to invest in a photovoltaic power plant (PVPP) with a capacity of 55 kW, in combination with an energy storage system (batteries) with a capacity of 55 kW, built on its own property. The electricity produced will be used entirely for own needs, with the expected annual production being around 71,500 kWh, which will cover 30–35% of total consumption. The battery system will provide the possibility of accumulating and using energy outside of daylight hours, ensuring higher autonomy and stability of the power supply. The expected effects of the project include: Reducing electricity costs by around 35% Reducing CO₂ carbon emissions Increasing the energy efficiency and sustainability of the enterprise; Reducing dependence on external suppliers and grid fluctuations. The investment is technically, financially and environmentally sustainable and fully complies with the objectives of procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 – increasing energy efficiency, increasing the share of renewable sources, reducing emissions and strengthening the competitiveness of Bulgarian enterprises.
