"Artek – 92" Ltd. owns a photovoltaic power plant for its own consumption with an installed peak capacity of 109.35 kW, which has the potential to produce 125 MWh of electricity per year. The company's annual electricity requirement is 149 MWh, and so far it covers only 42.6 MWh from its photovoltaic installation, and the remaining 106.4 MWh it purchases from the free market, i.e. it cannot use the full capacity of its power plant, as it does not have a facility to store the additional 82.4 MWh of electricity from the production capacity of its power plant. High electricity costs do not allow the company to purchase the necessary battery, as well as affect its competitiveness and overall market performance. Our project aims to purchase and install 1 battery unit with a capacity of 215 kWh for storing the energy produced by the existing photovoltaic power plant. The battery pack will be installed in the company's production facility, located in Sofia, 29 Nedelcho Bonchev Street. The total investment value is 277,098.45 BGN, of which 99,755.44 BGN are the expected support under the procedure "Energy Efficiency and Use of Energy from Renewable Sources in Enterprises", and the remaining 177,343.01 BGN are the own contribution of "Artek - 92" OOD. We expect the negotiation of a contractor, the coordination procedures with the competent institutions, the delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of the battery pack to take no more than 6 months. As a result of the implementation of this project proposal, "Artek - 92" Ltd. will have a battery system with a capacity of 215 kWh, which will ensure the utilization of the full potential of its photovoltaic power plant for current and future production consumption, the energy independence and sustainability of the company, sufficient own resources to invest in the competitiveness of the manufactured products and its viability as an economic entity.
