Planning region: All

Description

The project of "VALHALA" EOOD is aimed at increasing energy efficiency and increasing the share of energy used from renewable sources in the company's activities. The enterprise, whose main economic activity is "Hotels and similar accommodation facilities" (KID 55.10), manages the "Aqua Terme" Complex, located in the Krasnovski Mineralnye Bani region, Hisarya municipality.
In order to reduce electricity costs and limit the carbon footprint, the project envisages:
• Purchase and installation of photovoltaic panels with a capacity of 70 kWp, in combination with inverters, which will be connected to the existing photovoltaic power plant of the complex;
• Installation of local energy storage facilities (batteries) with a capacity of 105 kWh, also equipped with inverters, in order to optimize the use of the produced electricity and achieve a better energy balance.
The electricity produced will be used solely for own consumption, with a significant reduction in energy consumption from the external grid and a sustainable reduction in greenhouse gas emissions expected.
The implementation of the project will contribute to a more sustainable and competitive activity of "VALHALA" EOOD through the efficient use of local resources, the introduction of green technologies and the support of the transition to climate neutrality in accordance with the objectives of the Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises Program 2021–2027.
