"VERG" Ltd. carries out its main activity under the code NIC-2008 43.39 "Other finishing construction activities".The company is active in the construction activities and carries out maintenance, repair and renovation of buildings. In the context of rising electricity prices and the need to limit energy dependence, the company plans to make an investment aimed at increasing energy efficiency and sustainability of the activity. Within the framework of this project, it is planned to install photovoltaic panels in combination with inverters (1 pc.) and local energy storage facilities - batteries in combination with inverters (1 pc.). The investment will allow the company to produce part of the necessary electricity entirely for its own consumption from a renewable source - solar energy. This will lead to a reduction in total electricity costs, increasing energy independence and limiting the carbon footprint of the activity. The storage of excess energy produced in the battery modules will allow its use during periods of lower solar activity or power outages, ensuring higher reliability of energy supplies. The implementation of the project will ensure a sustainable reduction in specific energy consumption and will improve the competitiveness of "VERG" Ltd. by introducing environmentally friendly and energy efficient solutions. The investment is fully consistent with the objectives of procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 "Energy Efficiency" and will contribute to the achievement of national and European priorities for green and digital transformation of enterprises. The investment is in full compliance with the principle of "no significant harm" (DNSH) on the environment, meets all applicable environmental standards and contributes to the achievement of energy efficiency and sustainable growth goals at national and European level.
