Description

HITKO 2020 EOOD was established in 2020 with its headquarters in the city of Yambol and its main activity is Wholesale of food products - frozen foods including ice cream, fish, chicken products, frozen vegetables including blanched potatoes, etc.
The company has its own warehouse with cold storage in the city of Yambol located on an area of ​​1,700 sq. m.
The main objective of the project is to improve the energy efficiency of "HITKO 2020" EOOD through investments in renewable sources (RFPPs) to accelerate the company's transition to climate neutrality, reduce the carbon footprint and optimize energy consumption. Specific objectives: to increase the use of renewable energy in the company's energy mix; to reduce electricity costs; to achieve a lower cost of manufactured products; to increase the competitiveness of the company; to create prerequisites for the implementation of new investment intentions.
The investment that the company will implement is in line with the requirements of the principle of "no significant harm" to the environment and the achievement of climate sustainability, contributing to the ecological transition in the company's activities.
The project is fully consistent with the main objective of the project selection procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 and will contribute to achieving SO: RSO2.1. Promoting energy efficiency and reducing greenhouse gas emissions (ERDF) of Priority: 2. Circular economy of the Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises Program 2021-2027, as well as to achieving SO (i) promoting energy efficiency and reducing greenhouse gas emissions, which is one of the Policy Objectives set at the European level.
