Description

This project proposal is aimed at increasing the competitiveness of a company by supporting the implementation of energy-efficient equipment - a compressed air compressor with inverter control and a dryer, with a nominal power of the main engine of 75 kW.The birth date of "PLASTIMO" AD AD is 04.10.1964, when the company began its production activities in the town of Samokov. At the beginning, plastic household products were produced using the conventional injection molding method. The quality of production is ensured by complying with the requirements of the Quality Management System ISO 9001:2015. The high quality of the manufactured products and strict adherence to technical standards provided PLASTIMO AD with the opportunity from the end of 2008 to mid-2011 to start and develop large-scale production of expanded polystyrene parts for the automotive industry. Since 2015, regular production of expanded polypropylene (EPP) products has begun. A distinctive feature of the production operation, however, is its high energy intensity. At the moment, PLASTIMO AD cannot respond independently to these trends in increasing energy consumption. This determines the company's needs for the purchase and commissioning of energy-efficient equipment - a compressed air compressor with inverter control and a dryer, with a nominal power of the main engine of 75 kW. On this basis, it is expected to increase the productivity and efficiency of the company "PLASTIMO" AD, reduce production costs, increase competitiveness and reduce the energy intensity of the enterprise.
