Triest 5 Ltd. offers a wide range of services for the maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of all types of heavy machinery, performed by highly qualified teams in mechanical workshops equipped with a full range of metalworking machines. In order to improve the energy profile of the company by reducing electricity costs and increasing the energy efficiency of production activities, the company plans to purchase 2 heat pumps, 1 screw compressor, and 12 LED floodlights (industrial bells). The new equipment will improve the working environment by ensuring a stable microclimate and thermal comfort for workers in the mechanical workshop for heavy machinery and lifting equipment and will optimize the overall energy efficiency of work processes. - The heat pumps will replace the currently inefficient pellet boiler and ensure optimal microclimate for workers and specific production processes that are affected by the ambient temperature. - The compressor will power the pneumatic tools in the mechanical workshop, enable the expansion of production capacity, and increase the profitability of production operations. - The LED floodlights, characterized by very low energy consumption and long service life, will replace the currently available combined lighting with predominantly fluorescent lamps, which is extremely insufficient for the purposes of the work process, and will provide uniform illumination, suitable for more delicate and detailed repair and production activities. The investment will result in a significant reduction in heating and lighting costs and will provide more reliable and automated climate control in line with the requirements for sustainable and energy-efficient production. The energy efficiency of work processes will be optimised and the achievement of national and European circular economy targets will be supported.
