“MEGA T” EOOD carries out its main activity in the field of hotel services, as well as in the organization and conduct of accompanying events - seminars, conferences and other business events. The COVID-19 pandemic had a significant adverse impact on the sector, which led to a delayed recovery and a decrease in economic activity. One of the main operating costs directly affecting the economic viability of the enterprise is the cost of electricity. In view of this, the company developed a project proposal, providing for the delivery, installation and commissioning of a photovoltaic power plant with batteries - PVPP to meet its own energy needs. The company has prepared investment and project documentation in accordance with the Spatial Planning Act (SPA) - construction category VI, according to Art. 137, item 6 and Art. 147, para. 1, item 14, as well as in connection with Art. 25a of the Renewable Energy Sources Act (ZEVI). The project envisages the construction of the new PV power plant entirely on the roof of the existing building - a hotel, owned by "MEGA T" EOOD. The plant will include one photovoltaic generator connected to an inverter system, providing conversion of the direct current (DC) generated by the PV modules into alternating current (AC) for direct consumption or storage. According to the estimated energy estimates: - Annual production: ≈ 99,657 kWh - Energy for direct own consumption: ≈ 84,293 kWh (84.58%) The remaining energy will be used to optimize energy costs and reduce dependence on external suppliers. The implementation of the project will contribute to reducing operating costs, increasing energy independence and sustainable growth of the company's economic activity.
