The project aims to reduce energy costs and stabilize the microclimate in the commercial and warehouse facility at the address: Gabrovo, 13 Industrialna Street. The measure provides for thermal renovation of the enclosing envelope by installing sandwich panels for external walls – 270 m² and sandwich panels for the roof – 400 m². Need/problem: The facility operates with high daily activity and variable loads (shop, service, warehouse), and the existing envelope leads to significant heat losses/gains, uneven comfort and prolonged heating/cooling modes. This increases the cost of operation, increases peak HVAC loads and worsens conditions for staff and customers. Objectives: – Reducing final energy consumption by limiting heat losses/gains and infiltrations. – Stabilizing the internal microclimate in the “shop/office/warehouse/service” areas and reducing the operating hours of heating/cooling. – Reduction of peak loads on the electrical installation (HVAC, ventilation) and extension of the equipment life. – Improvement of the quality of service and safe working conditions. Main activities: energy audit and detailing; design and specification of panels (thickness/U-factor) and connection details; supply and installation of wall and roof sandwich panels with the necessary seals/vapour barrier; air tightness tests/thermal chamber inspection; commissioning and training for operation/maintenance. Expected results: significant reduction of HVAC energy and operating costs; lower peak loads and more predictable bills; uniform comfort for staff and customers; better conditions for storing goods; limitation of CO₂ emissions. Reporting will be based on the unit cost regime after proven commissioning and implementation of the minimum technical parameters. The project is aligned with the priority "Circular and Resource-Efficient Economy" and directly contributes to the energy efficiency of SMEs.
