The project aims to improve energy efficiency and the use of energy from renewable sources in the enterprise with the main activity "Production of sheets, plates, pipes and profiles made of plastics". The activity is related to a continuous production process, characterized by high electricity consumption used to power compressors, production machines and air conditioning systems. High energy costs lead to increased production costs and reduced competitiveness. The project envisages the purchase and commissioning of an inverter screw compressor with a built-in dryer and receiver, which will ensure optimized and energy-efficient production of compressed air for the needs of technological processes. Inverter control will reduce the specific electricity consumption and achieve a better match between the load and actual consumption. In addition, the project envisages the implementation of two highly efficient heat pump systems: air-to-water with a capacity of 50 kW and water-to-water with a capacity of 52 kW. They will ensure sustainable and economical heating and cooling of production and auxiliary premises. The systems will use renewable energy from the environment, which will contribute to reducing the consumption of conventional electricity and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The implementation of the project will lead to significant energy savings, lower operating costs, reduce the carbon footprint of the enterprise and increase its competitiveness. The planned investments are fully consistent with the objectives of the procedure for increasing energy efficiency and using renewable energy sources in enterprises.
