Programme: Programme "Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises" 2021-2027

Planning region: All

Description

The project aims to increase energy efficiency and reduce the carbon footprint of “Mirex Auto” Ltd by utilizing energy from renewable sources. Implementation of the project will enable the company to produce and use its own electricity, thereby optimizing energy consumption and enhancing the enterprise’s energy sustainability.

Within the framework of the project, the following activities will be carried out in accordance with the “List of Eligible Categories of Assets in the Field of Energy Efficiency and the Use of Energy from Renewable Sources”:

Installation of a 20 kW photovoltaic power plant (PVPP);

Installation of additional batteries with inverters for storing energy generated by the photovoltaic plant – 10 kWh.

The planned activities are aligned with horizontal principles and the “do no significant harm” principle, contributing to climate resilience, environmental protection, and efficient use of natural resources. Implementation of the project will help reduce greenhouse gas emissions, increase the share of renewable energy, and mitigate negative climate impacts.

Carrying out the proposed activities will contribute to achieving the objectives of this procedure by providing targeted support to Bulgarian enterprises in improving their energy efficiency and promoting the use of renewable energy sources. This will accelerate the private sector’s transition to climate neutrality by reducing carbon footprints, optimizing energy consumption, and increasing the share of renewable energy in the companies’ energy mix.
