BIMS OOD is a company specialized in engineering activities aimed at designing and building controls for automating production processes, equipping electrical panels, etc. With this project, BIMS OOD plans to implement an independent energy source - Photovoltaic Power Plant, which will support the activities in the main production code of the enterprise under NACE Rev. 2 - 28.29 - "Manufacture of other general-purpose machinery, not elsewhere classified". For this purpose, the project proposal includes the construction of a Photovoltaic Power Plant (PvPP), which also includes batteries for storing electrical energy. The use of energy from renewable sources (RES) in the enterprise will lead to a qualitative leap in achieving its energy autonomy and security in the future. The investment envisaged in the project will be implemented under the applicable "de minimis" regime, and will be built and implemented in the company's production: 1. Photovoltaic Power Plant 40 kW - 1 pc. The project proposal will be implemented in a priority sector according to the regional specialization in accordance with the National Strategy for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises 2021-2027 - NSMEP 2021-2027, as well as will be implemented in a priority region according to its place of implementation. Last but not least, this investment will also contribute to the overall cumulative energy savings target for the period 2021-2030, set out in the Integrated Energy and Climate Plan of the Republic of Bulgaria. The expected effect of the project implementation is the acquisition of independence in terms of energy security of the production activities of BIMS OOD. In this way, the company will be able to make more accurate estimates and calculations, reduce the cost of manufactured products and overall production costs. Thus, BIMS OOD will be able to offer products that are competitive on the market and determine its stable development in the future.
