With this project proposal, Di &Vi Group Ltd. is applying to receive financial support for energy-efficient equipment and the use of energy from renewable sources, which will help the enterprise improve its energy efficiency and competitiveness. The significant increase in the price of electricity and natural gas observed in recent years disrupts the functioning of almost all economic activities, with the increase in energy prices being decisive for competitiveness. Implementing concrete measures at the enterprise level in the field of energy transition is important not only from the perspective of preventing climate change, but also to reduce the vulnerability of the economy to fluctuations in fossil fuel prices. Industrial consumers are facing the prospect of higher energy bills at a time when it is impacting their recovery and growth following the pandemic and ongoing war in Ukraine. The expected results for Di &Vi Group Ltd. from the support under the procedure are expressed in improving energy efficiency and increasing the use of energy from renewable sources for its own needs, by building using the FtPP procedure. At the same time and effectively using photovoltaic panels for accumulating and subsequently storing energy in local facilities for storing the produced energy. Another economic benefit, and at the same time an energy benefit for the company, is the use of energy storage batteries, as facilities to be used for energy power during power outages and smooth shutdown and subsequent restart of the machines and equipment used, eliminating the risks of equipment failures. The implementation of the project will contribute to increasing the energy autonomy, competitiveness and reducing the energy intensity of the candidate enterprise.
