Description

The project proposal is aimed at improving the energy efficiency of Leader-PC Ltd.
The company’s activities are focused on the trade of computers, peripheral devices, spare parts, and software solutions. The main objective of the project is the implementation of energy-efficient technologies and systems in the company’s facilities – the main store in the city of Vratsa, as well as the offices, warehouse premises, and service base located in the Bistrets district.

In recent years, electricity costs have shown a steady upward trend, which has had a significant impact on the company’s operating expenses. In this context, the management has undertaken strategic steps to reduce energy dependence and optimize consumption through the use of renewable energy sources.

The project envisages the construction of a photovoltaic power plant with an energy storage system (batteries) with an installed capacity of 12 kW, as well as the implementation of an additional energy storage system (batteries) with a capacity of 40.96 kW, which will be connected to the newly built photovoltaic plant. This solution will ensure a significant part of the electricity required for the company’s warehouse, administrative, and service facilities.

In addition to providing renewable energy for self-consumption, the project also includes the installation of a water-to-water heat pump with a heating capacity of 21 kW, the replacement of the lighting system, as well as the replacement of the insulation system and window frames of the store. The new equipment will ensure an optimal indoor climate throughout all seasons, achieving maximum energy efficiency and minimal operating costs.
