The project proposal is aimed at increasing the energy efficiency and sustainability of the architectural workshop of "ARTEK BG" EOOD, located in the village of Kochan, Satovcha municipality, Blagoevgrad region. The company's main activity is the provision of architectural and engineering services, including design, consulting and development of construction solutions. The building in which the activity is carried out is owned by the company and is currently characterized by high energy losses and outdated heating and ventilation systems, which leads to increased energy costs and an unfavorable indoor microclimate. To improve the energy performance of the site and achieve sustainable and effective management of energy resources, the project envisages the implementation of the following measures: - Purchase and installation of an air-to-water heat pump with a thermal capacity of 30 kW, providing energy-efficient heating and cooling of the building; - Installation of two flat solar collectors with a total area of 5 sq.m. for heating domestic hot water; - Implementation of 4 air conditioning chambers to ensure ventilation and microclimate control; - Laying a thermal insulation system for external walls (275 sq.m.) in order to reduce heat loss; - Replacement of the joinery with high-performance aluminum doors with a thermal break (8.7 sq.m.) and PVC windows with low-emission glazing (21.7 sq.m.); - Construction of a 20 kW photovoltaic plant on the roof of the building to produce electricity for own consumption. The implementation of the project will lead to a significant reduction in energy consumption and carbon emissions, improvement of working conditions, reduction of energy costs and increase of the company's energy independence. The project will support the implementation of the goals of the Green Deal and the national policy for energy efficiency and RES, by creating a sustainable, modern and environmentally friendly architectural working environment.
