The project proposal of EKON-91 Ltd. is focused on increasing energy efficiency and optimizing the use of energy from renewable sources through the implementation of a 25 kW PV system and an energy storage system – a 70 kW battery, which will be connected to the PV system for self-consumption. The main need to be addressed is ensuring greater energy independence and achieving a more efficient match between electricity production and consumption. The PV system will enable the generation of additional energy, while the battery will allow the storage of produced but currently unused electricity. This will lead to reduced peak loads, optimized energy flows, minimized technological losses, and lower costs for electricity purchased from the grid. The project implementation will allow fuller and more flexible utilization of the energy produced by the PV system, increase the reliability of power supply, and reduce the risks of interruptions and unpredictable fluctuations in the energy system. The installation of the photovoltaic panels and battery will also provide better energy resource management by enabling consumption balancing across different time intervals. The expected results of the project include a significant reduction in carbon footprint, higher resource efficiency, and a contribution to sustainable growth. In addition to environmental benefits, the project will deliver economic advantages – lower operational costs, more predictable energy expenses, and enhanced competitiveness of the company in the market. In the long term, the project will contribute to strengthening the energy independence of EKON-91 Ltd., support the achievement of national and European energy efficiency and climate neutrality goals, and establish the company as a responsible and sustainable business applying innovative solutions in energy management.
