DESIY LTD (hereinafter referred to as DESIY) is a medium-sized enterprise with a main economic activity code according to NACE REV 2 - "10.71 - Manufacture of bread, bread and fresh pastry products." The company owns and actively operates a production facility—a bread factory in the northern industrial zone of Karnobat, Burgas Province. A photovoltaic power plant (PhPP) with a capacity of 190 kW is installed on the roof of the bakery, located in UPI II-34; block 4 according to the plan of the northern industrial zone of Karnobat. The time range in which there is peak electricity production from this PVPP does not coincide with the production cycle of DESI, for which electricity is needed. This requires the surplus daily electricity generated by the PhPP to be sold to EVN TRADING SOUTH EAST EUROPE. This requires the surplus daytime electricity produced by the PhPP to be sold to EVN TRADING SOUTH EAST EUROPE EAD and then purchasing electricity from this electricity distribution company during another period when there is a shortage of electricity to ensure DESI's production activity. Therefore, we believe that from an energy and economic point of view, it is much more expedient for the energy produced by PhPP, which turns out to be surplus in certain periods of time, to be stored in the local energy storage facilities specified in the project - batteries in combination with inverters (shortly batteries with inverters) and used by the bakery when needed. On this basis, in line with the current procedure, the purchase of 2 complementary assets is requested: - Local energy storage facility—battery in combination with an inverter, with the specification "battery with inverter" and a capacity of 125 kW; - Local energy storage facility - battery in combination with inverters, with the specification "battery with inverter" and a capacity of 50 kW. This will ensure better and more efficient use of the energy produced at DESIY from renewable sources - its existing PhPP.
