This project proposal has been developed in response to a key need of "SARINA 92" Ltd. - the necessity to reduce the energy intensity and mitigate the negative impact of high energy costs on the company's competitiveness. As a manufacturer of cocoa, chocolate, and sugar confectionery (NACE code 10.82), the company faces high electricity consumption due to the specifics of its production process, which requires a continuous power supply and strict microclimate control. The target group for this project is the enterprise itself, as a microsized enterprise. The main objectives are to increase energy efficiency, promote the use of renewable energy sources (RES) for own consumption, and reduce the carbon footprint. To achieve these goals, the following main activities are planned: delivery and commissioning of a 28.7 kW photovoltaic system for electricity generation, a 40.9 kW energy storage system (batteries), and 5 recuperative units for heating, ventilation, and cooling. The expected results include significant energy savings, a reduction in CO₂ emissions, optimization of production costs, and the attraction of private investment to complement public funding. The project will directly contribute to the company's green transition and support its sustainable development in a dynamic market environment.
