The main activity of the company ASHTAR OOD is restaurant business (KID 56.10)– preparation and serving of food and beverages, developing its activity through the restaurant chain “La Pastaria”. The project of ASHTAR OOD aims to increase energy efficiency and introduce renewable energy sources in the restaurant La Pastaria, located at 24 Asen Zlatarov Street. The current site is an establishment with a kitchen, a customer hall and utility rooms, operating year-round. The building is equipped with outdated PVC windows and doors, which leads to significant heat losses and high heating and cooling costs. The main activities of the project include -Implementation of an air-to-water heat pump system with a capacity of 50 kW –a modern, energy-efficient heating and cooling system, which will provide an optimal microclimate in the site and reduce energy consumption. -Replacement of outdated PVC joinery with highly efficient aluminum joinery with a thermal break and triple low-emission glazing (43 m²), which will reduce heat loss and increase the airtightness of the building. -Replacement of 2pcs. external doors with energy-efficient aluminum models, which will further minimize the infiltration of cold air and increase comfort for customers and staff. The expected results of the project are: -Significant reduction in the energy consumption of the sit leading to optimization of heating and cooling costs -Improvement of the energy efficiency of the building and increasing its sustainability -Reduction of the carbon footprint and positive impact on the environment -Improvement of the microclimate and comfort for customers and staff of the restaurant The project is fully consistent with the objectives of the procedure, combining modern energy saving technologies with the implementation of a renewable energy source (heat pump). Its implementation will lead to lasting energy savings, increased competitiveness of the site and improved working environment.
