This project proposal, submitted by HIT AUTO BT EOOD, whose economic activity is classified under NACE Code 45 (Sale of motor vehicles), is strategically positioned to achieve the core objective of the procedure. The objective is to improve energy efficiency and promote the integration of renewable energy sources (RES) for own consumption, which is a necessary condition for accelerating the company's transition to climate neutrality. The key need to be addressed is the reduction of operational energy intensity and the minimization of economic vulnerability stemming from fluctuations in energy prices and the imperatives for decarbonizing the national economy. The project provides for the realization of integrated investments in energy-saving assets and RES technologies, which will lead to the optimization of energy consumption and a substantial increase in the share of RES energy in the company's energy mix. The main activities include the acquisition and commissioning of a highly efficient air-to-water heat pump system to ensure air conditioning and heating, photovoltaic panels combined with inverters, and local energy storage facilities (batteries), whose function is to guarantee the production and storage of electrical energy exclusively for the needs of own consumption. The target group of the intervention consists of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), a category to which the applicant belongs. The anticipated results portfolio covers the fulfillment of the mandatory program indicators RCO01 and RCR02, the achievement of measurable energy savings, reduction of carbon emissions, increased competitiveness, and the ensuring of sustainability of the economic activity in the context of the European Green Deal and the overall cumulative energy savings targets. The investment is in full compliance with the 'Do No Significant Harm' principle.
