Through the implementation of the project and the achievement of its objectives related to improving the energy efficiency and sustainability of the enterprise, STAR NAILS BULGARIA Ltd., as a representative of the small and medium-sized enterprises from Sector C – Manufacturing (NACE 20.42 – Manufacture of perfumes and toilet preparations), plans to introduce modern technologies for the generation and storage of renewable energy. The investment includes the construction of a 100 kW photovoltaic power plant, combined with an energy storage system (batteries), which will ensure reliable electricity supply to the company’s production facilities and reduce dependence on external electricity providers. The project is strategically focused on optimizing production processes and reducing the energy intensity of perfume and cosmetic product manufacturing, which requires continuous operation of mixing, filling, ventilation, and climate-control systems. Expected results from the project implementation include: Improved energy efficiency and an increased share of renewable energy used in the company’s total electricity consumption; Reduction of the carbon footprint from production activities and acceleration of the company’s transition towards climate neutrality, in line with the goals of the European Green Deal; Optimization of production costs and improved predictability of energy expenses in the long term; Enhanced competitiveness and sustainable development of the enterprise through the application of energy-efficient and environmentally responsible practices. With the implementation of this project, STAR NAILS BULGARIA Ltd. will establish itself as a modern, innovative, and environmentally responsible manufacturer, contributing to the green transformation of Bulgaria’s industrial sector through the efficient use of renewable energy and sustainable production management.
