Moni Colors Ltd. specializes in industrial coatings and metal processing. Our production bases are located at two sites in Plovdiv. The new production facility has an area of 1000 sq. m, and numerous production operations are carried out in our production hall. Both for the production processes and for the working conditions, a key requirement is ensuring a constant comfortable temperature in the premises. During certain periods of the year, due to larger orders, it is necessary to operate on three shifts at the facility. Heating and cooling the premises are essential both for the staff's working capacity and the quality of the finished products. Some of our production activities were moved to the premises at the current address a few months ago. We currently lack suitable energy-efficient appliances and equipment to achieve our goal of ensuring a favorable climate in the premises. The premises are not supplied with gas, and there are currently no established conditions for heating and cooling. The most effective method, both in terms of energy consumption and required costs, is the installation of a sufficient number of optimally distributed heat pump units throughout the premises. This is precisely the goal of this project: to purchase and install 7 high-efficiency air-to-water heat pumps to achieve our required parameters in the most effective way possible. Heat pumps primarily use electricity for the operation of the compressor and fan, but they can deliver 3 to 5 times more heating and cooling energy compared to the electrical energy consumed. This leads to a significant reduction in heating and cooling bills compared to gas boilers or electric heaters, for example. By implementing the project, we will secure a high-efficiency source of heating and cooling with an optimal level of operating costs and a small volume of generated carbon emissions.
