AP Management Group Ltd. is a company based in Sofia, Bulgaria, which operates in the hotel and tourism services sector through its AphotelS chain, comprising several high-end hotels in the country. One of the properties is the Stilyana Hotel, located in Devin, a three-star hotel with a well-developed spa and wellness complex. One of the properties is the Stilyana Hotel, located in Devin, a four-star hotel with a well-developed spa and wellness complex. The hotel's operations involve significant energy costs due to year-round occupancy, heating and cooling of the premises, the operation of swimming pools, spa facilities, and restaurant, which makes the company heavily dependent on external electricity suppliers and faces challenges arising from the high and dynamic prices of energy resources. As part of the project, AP Management Group EOOD plans to build a new photovoltaic power plant (PVPP) for its own consumption in combination with a local energy storage system (batteries). The photovoltaic system will be connected to the internal power distribution network of the Stilyana Hotel and will cover a significant part of its energy needs. The battery system will store the energy produced during periods of active sunshine and feed it back into the hotel's network during hours of high consumption or when there is no sunshine. The construction of its own photovoltaic system in combination with a local storage facility will enable AP Management Group EOOD to secure part of its energy needs through a renewable source, reduce its dependence on energy price fluctuations, and increase the reliability and sustainability of the energy system that supports the company's main economic activity.
