Description

The project proposal of “DOR – NED” Ltd. is aimed at improving the company’s energy efficiency and sustainability through the installation of local energy storage facilities – battery systems combined with inverters with a total storage capacity of 81.92 kWh.

The company operates in the field of vehicle maintenance and repair, an activity characterized by high and continuous electricity consumption required for powering lifts, compressors, diagnostic equipment, lighting, and heating systems. Ensuring a stable energy supply is essential for the smooth operation of the technical processes and for maintaining high-quality and timely customer service.

“DOR – NED” Ltd. already operates a photovoltaic power plant (PV system) with an installed capacity of 80 kWp, built with the company’s own funds, which covers a large part of its daytime electricity consumption. However, a portion of the generated energy is not efficiently utilized in real time, and during periods without sunlight, the company continues to rely on external electricity supply.

The planned investment in an energy storage system with a capacity of 81.92 kWh will enable the accumulation of excess electricity generated during the day and its use during peak or nighttime hours, when the PV system does not produce power. This will ensure more efficient use of renewable energy, reduce dependence on the grid, lower energy costs, and enhance the company’s energy autonomy.

The implementation of the project will contribute to improving energy efficiency, optimizing energy flows, and reducing the company’s carbon footprint. The investment will strengthen the competitiveness of “DOR – NED” Ltd., improve sustainable resource management, and support the achievement of the objectives set out in the National Energy and Climate Plan and the European Green Deal.
