“RMZ MIHAYLOV” Ltd. is a company specialized in the production of metal structures and components, manufactured according to client specifications and individual technical requirements, particularly in equipment and facilities for hydroelectric power plants, wastewater treatment installations, the manufacture and repair of boilers, pressure vessels and pipelines, as well as the production of blanks and parts incorporated into equipment for the chemical, metallurgical, mechanical engineering, food and energy industries.
As a manufacturing enterprise in which the energy component constitutes a significant share of the production cost, “RMZ MIHAYLOV” Ltd. faces challenges related to high energy intensity, instability in electricity prices, and dependence on external energy suppliers.
To address these challenges, and in line with the objectives of procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 “Energy Efficiency and Use of Energy from Renewable Sources in Enterprises”, the project foresees the implementation of the following investments:
1. Construction and commissioning of photovoltaic panels in combination with an inverter with an installed capacity of 100 kWp – item 14 from the List of Eligible Categories of Assets;
2. Delivery and commissioning of a local energy storage facility (battery) in combination with an inverter, with a capacity of 240 kWh – item 15 from the List of Eligible Categories of Assets.
The implementation of the investment will ensure sustainable and predictable energy supply for the production activities, reduction of electricity costs, and increased competitiveness of the enterprise through the use of green energy from renewable sources.
The total value of the planned investments amounts to 413 462,20 BGN, and the project duration is 12 months.
