Over the years, ET MOTOROK-ATANAS MALAKOV has established itself as a leader in the manufacture of reinforcement bars and reinforcement packages - piles, beams, columns, and slotted walls. The reinforcement yard is constantly being renovated and has modern metal cutting and processing equipment in order to improve the quality of services and customer satisfaction. The trader has built a 49.88kW photovoltaic power plant, whose energy is for its own consumption only. In recent years, ET MOTOROK-ATANAS MALAKOV has had serious problems with sudden and prolonged power outages, which have caused many negative consequences such as missed delivery deadlines, production and economic losses. The trader also faces a number of challenges related to increased energy intensity and unstable electricity prices. This leads to both high operating costs and reduced predictability and competitiveness in the long term. To address these issues, we plan to use stored energy, which will be achieved by building batteries for storing electrical energy with a capacity of 100kWh. Analyses show that this will reduce dependence on the grid and stabilize energy costs. The batteries will allow excess energy to be stored and used during periods of lower electricity production. They will provide electrical energy when it is not supplied by the grid or the PV plant, resulting in a continuous production process, fulfilled orders, and satisfied customers. The implementation of the project will improve energy efficiency and increase the competitiveness of ET MOTOROK-ATANAS MALAKOV by using energy from batteries to store electrical energy. The project will contribute to reducing the carbon footprint and the sustainable use of resources in accordance with the principles of a low-carbon economy, thereby contributing to climate change mitigation.
