Description

The project proposal of "PERFECT PLAST VELIKI PRESLAV" EOOD is aimed at increasing energy efficiency and the use of energy from renewable sources in the enterprise. The company operates both in the field of trade (KID 46.90) and in the production of joinery and other plastic products for construction (KID 22.23). Support under the project is applied for specifically for the production activity, as the investment is entirely related to the production processes, equipment and the building in which this activity is carried out.
The need for the investment arises from the high energy intensity of the production of joinery, which includes cutting, welding, gluing, milling and installation of PVC profiles. Working with electrically powered machines requires a constant and reliable power supply, which forms a significant share of the enterprise's costs and makes it dependent on fluctuations in energy prices.
The project envisages the construction of a photovoltaic power plant (PVPP) with an installed capacity of 50 kW for own consumption, including photovoltaic panels, inverter, batteries and associated elements, in accordance with item 16 of the List of Eligible Asset Categories. The system will provide the majority of the electricity needed for production machinery and equipment, reducing dependence on the electricity distribution network and ensuring predictability of energy costs.
The aim of the project is to increase the share of energy from renewable sources, increase energy efficiency and reduce the carbon footprint of the company's activities, thus supporting the transition to sustainable, competitive and environmentally friendly production.
The expected results include the production of clean electricity from the sun, reducing the consumption of conventional energy, optimizing production costs, lower greenhouse gas emissions and increasing the energy independence and competitiveness of the company.
