The project of "Aluax" Ltd. is aimed at implementing measures for the use of energy from renewable sources at the production site of the company, whose main activity is under the NACE 22.22 - Production of plastic packaging. The company produces a variety of plastic packaging used in various industrial and consumer sectors, striving to offer products with high quality, reliability and compliance with current requirements for sustainable development. The production process is associated with intensive use of electricity, mainly for the operation of injection molding machines and related peripherals. High energy consumption leads to significant current costs and makes the company dependent on dynamic electricity prices. This affects both the cost of production and the long-term competitiveness of the company. In addition to the economic consequences, the large volume of energy consumption increases the carbon footprint of production, which is contrary to the commitment of "Aluax" Ltd. to environmentally responsible activity. The project envisages the construction of a new photovoltaic power plant with a capacity of 60 kW, which will be entirely intended to cover the company's own energy needs. The system will also be equipped with batteries that meet the requirements of the procedure, which will allow for the storage and effective use of the energy produced in different time ranges. In this way, a higher degree of energy independence will be achieved, operating costs will be reduced and the impact on the environment will be limited. The need for support stems from the desire of "Aluax" Ltd. to reduce its dependence on conventional energy sources, optimize production costs, reduce the negative impact on nature and achieve higher energy efficiency in accordance with modern standards for sustainable development.
