G & V EOOD is among the first licensed companies in Bulgaria for the production and bottling of table water with low mineralization, marketed under the brand name SAVINA. The company owns its own water source and operates a production and logistics facility covering 8,500 m² in Busmantsi, Iskar District – Sofia City, which includes production, storage, and administrative premises. The company’s operations are energy-intensive, with the main electricity consumers being pumps, compressors, bottling lines, and lighting systems. The growing electricity prices and the need for stable and sustainable energy supply have led to the decision to implement a renewable energy source for self-consumption. The project envisages the construction of a photovoltaic power plant (PV system) with a capacity of 55 kW, installed on the roof of the company’s premises. The system will generate renewable electricity annually, used entirely for the company’s own consumption. Expected results and effects: - Reduction of electricity costs; - Generation of renewable electricity; - Reduction of CO₂ emissions; - Improved energy efficiency, independence, and sustainability of the company; - Short payback period – with 65% grant support. The project proposal of “G & V” EOOD represents a strategic investment in green and energy-efficient transformation, which will ensure long-term economic, environmental, and social benefits. Through the construction of a 55 kW photovoltaic power plant, the company will reduce its energy dependence, achieve a high level of efficiency, and contribute to the sustainable development of the Bulgarian economy and the transition toward climate neutrality.
