The project proposal of “Chernomorski Solnitsi” JSC envisions the implementation of energy-efficient insulation systems in three production buildings housing the pumping installations that service the company’s evaporation ponds. The buildings were constructed more than three decades ago, and no renovation or energy efficiency improvement activities have been undertaken to date. As a result, the enclosing structures and existing window frames are worn out, leading to significant heat losses, increased humidity, and an unfavorable microclimate for both personnel and equipment. The project foresees thermal insulation of the external walls, roof, and floor, as well as the replacement of outdated window frames with new energy-efficient ones. The implementation of these measures will result in a substantial improvement in the buildings’ energy efficiency and optimization of the working environment. Expected project results: -Reduction of heat losses through the building envelope; -Improvement and stabilization of the indoor microclimate; -Reduction of condensation and humidity, leading to decreased equipment corrosion; -Reduction of energy costs, with expected electricity savings of 10–15%; -Extension of the operational lifespan of the building and technological infrastructure; -Improvement of working conditions and employee safety. The project aligns with the objectives of Procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 “Energy Efficiency and Use of Energy from Renewable Sources in Enterprises”, as it will contribute to reducing energy costs, improving environmental performance, and enhancing the competitiveness of “Chernomorski Solnitsi” JSC.
