In this project proposal, Cable Systems Technology AD envisages the introduction of energy efficiency measures in an industrial building in which no improvements or interventions have been carried out to date. The company was established in 2018, when an old factory was purchased for its operations, which at that time was unusable and unsuitable for production activities. The factory consists of five industrial buildings, three of which are currently operational and have been renovated. In recent years, the company has been developing dynamically and the number of employees has been growing every year, reaching nearly 70 people in 2025. This has led to the need to expand the production and administrative areas and to better distribute activities within the existing building stock in order to meet the increased demand for workspaces that meet modern requirements for energy efficiency and safe working conditions. This project proposal provides for the introduction of energy efficiency measures in the fourth existing production building, which is structurally sound but, in its current condition, does not meet the standards for healthy and safe working conditions and energy efficiency. The project proposal provides for: thermal insulation of external walls and roof and replacement of windows and doors. This will allow the building to be used for administrative and production activities, optimise the use of the existing building stock and improve working conditions in the enterprise. The implementation of the project proposal will improve the company's energy efficiency and is a step towards climate neutrality by reducing its carbon footprint and optimising energy consumption. This will help the company maintain its competitiveness and continue with its investment plans.
