The project "Increasing energy efficiency in Aqua Yantra Ltd." is aimed at modernizing the cooling in the production facility by implementing two high-efficiency air-cooled chillers with free cooling mode. The new centralized solution replaces an outdated cooling installation (introduced in 2003) and individual R407 freon systems, which no longer provide the necessary stability and economy. Cooling is critical for Aqua Yantra's processes - the water must be maintained in a narrow temperature range (about 10–12°C) to ensure normal operation of the PET and PVC pipe extruders and fittings production machines. The new system will centrally service 12 extrusion lines and up to 13 injection molding machines, ensuring a more uniform temperature regime, higher reliability and better quality control. The expected effect of the implementation of the two chillers is significantly lower electricity consumption for cooling (including due to the use of ambient temperature for most of the year), reduced operating costs, less peak loads on electrical installations and extended equipment life. This leads to more stable production, fewer technological deviations and reduced carbon emissions. The project is fully consistent with the objectives of the energy efficiency programs: lower final consumption, sustainable management of energy resources and increased competitiveness through the modernization of the main production infrastructure. Reporting will be based on the unit cost regime with proven commissioning of the assets, which guarantees a controllable and verifiable result.
