The overall objective of the project proposal is to enhance the energy efficiency, environmental sustainability, and competitiveness of the production activities of Novarto Invest Ltd. through the implementation of high-efficiency energy solutions – a 30 kW photovoltaic power plant (PV system) for self-consumption and an energy-efficient air compressor with a nominal power of 11 kW – aimed at optimizing energy consumption, reducing the company’s carbon footprint, and ensuring sustainable resource management within the brewing process. The need for support under procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 arises from the high energy intensity and continuous nature of the brewing production process, the instability of electricity prices, the requirements of European green transition policies, and the need for sustainable development. By implementing the project, Novarto Invest Ltd. will achieve a significant improvement in its energy efficiency, a reduction in its carbon footprint, and an increase in its overall competitiveness, while also contributing to the achievement of national and European climate neutrality goals.
