Odesosstroy Ltd. is a medium-sized enterprise whose main activity is related to the construction of highways, roads and airstrips. In line with its plans for expansion of its activities and the growing need for suitable premises for employees and workers, the company aims to implement energy efficiency measures aimed at reducing energy consumption and operating costs. The project envisages investments in insulation systems for external facades of a rented building located in the village of Dragoevo, Shumen district, Veliki Preslav municipality. In addition, the applicant plans to install air-to-air heat pumps in order to further improve the energy performance of the building. Currently, a significant part of the company's operating costs is due to high electricity consumption, the prices of which remain unstable and difficult to predict. The company faces challenges related to low energy efficiency and high electricity supply costs, as well as lagging behind in its efforts regarding decarbonization and reducing its carbon footprint. In parallel, more and more customers and partners of the company are paying attention to environmental and social responsibility, which motivates Odesosstroy Ltd. to direct its development towards sustainable practices and compliance with the growing requirements in this area. The implementation of the planned project activities will contribute not only to achieving the company's internal goals - such as reducing costs, increasing energy security and increasing operational sustainability, but also to achieving national and European goals in the field of climate and energy.
