"Cesar Trade" Ltd. is a Bulgarian company specializing in the sale, demonstration and service of welding equipment, welding consumables and equipment, with many years of experience in the industrial sector. The company represents leading international brands and offers complete solutions - from delivery and technical consultations to training and after-sales service. The company's activity is energy-intensive, since welding machines with a single consumption of 10–15 kW are tested daily in the sales and service base, and when several devices, the compressor and air conditioning are operating simultaneously, the instantaneous load on them reaches 50–60 kW. To this is added a newly installed air curtain (4 kW), which will operate 10 hours a day during the winter months, as well as all other permanent consumers, whose consumption is approx. 5 kW. Thus, the peak load is close to 70 kW. In order to reduce electricity costs and optimize peak loads, the applicant plans to invest in: - photovoltaic panels with inverters with AC power of 50 kW; - local facilities (batteries) with inverters for storing energy from the photovoltaic panels planned to be installed. The batteries have a capacity of 75 kWh. The electricity produced will be used solely to cover the applicant's own needs. The system is sized according to the required electrical power, providing approx. 70% coverage of daily energy peaks and reserve capacity during hours of lower solar activity. The expected annual production of the system is around 52–55 MWh of green energy, which will cover around 45–50% of the company's total annual consumption. The project is fully consistent with the objectives of Procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 "Energy efficiency and use of energy from renewable sources in enterprises", contributing to increasing energy independence, reducing the carbon footprint and achieving sustainable and competitive development of "Cesar Trade" EOOD.
