The project proposal "Improving energy efficiency and reducing the carbon footprint of ZSK Ltd. - Stara Zagora" aims to improve the energy efficiency of the company, reduce its carbon footprint, and introduce renewable sources for electricity production and storage systems. To achieve the project's objectives, one main activity will be carried out: purchase, delivery, and putting into operation of assets in accordance with the "List of eligible categories of assets in the field of energy efficiency and the use of energy from renewable sources," namely a 50 kW photovoltaic power plant (5 units of 10 kW each) with a total value of BGN 136,358.5. Each unit will include photovoltaic modules, inverters for the photovoltaic modules and for the storage system and batteries, in accordance with the specifications and technical criteria set out in Annex 4.2. of the Procedure. The photovoltaic power plant will be installed on the roof of the company's own production premises using low-corrosion fasteners and materials, in accordance with the requirements specified in Annex 4.2. In addition to the main activity, all activities related to publicity and communication requirements will be planned and implemented during the project implementation. The applicant has an experienced team that has successfully implemented two BFP projects to manage the project and organize public procedures. The project activities will be implemented on the territory of the ZSK production base in the city of Stara Zagora, where the applicant's production is located and where all the production and administrative buildings of the enterprise, which are its property, are located. The requested grant is aimed at the applicant's main economic activity, classified under code C23 in the 2008 Classification of Economic Activities, which is classified in the sections characterized by high electricity consumption in the same Classification.
