The project proposal aims to improve the energy efficiency of Laki Moulding Technology Ltd(LMT Ltd.) and promote climate neutrality by reducing its carbon footprint,optimizing energy consumption and increasing renewable energy in the company's energy mix. In the context of increased requirements for sustainable economic development and in response to the challenges associated with climate change,LMT Ltd identifies the need to implement specific measures to improve energy efficiency and reduce the carbon footprint of its activities.The creation and implementation of additional measures and incentives for decarbonization of the economy is essential for maintaining and improving the company's competitiveness. LMT Ltd is aware of the need to adapt to European and national policies for a green economy and is therefore taking steps to modernize its production by implementing energy efficiency measures and integrating renewable energy sources.The main activity of the project is the construction of a rooftop combined heat and power plant for its own consumption, including inverters and a battery system for energy storage. The implementation of the project will reduce the high costs of electricity.The target groups of the project are LMT Ltd, the company's employees,clients and partners,for whom trust will increase, and last but not least,the local community and the environment, for whom harmful emissions will be reduced. The implementation of the project will have a positive impact on both the competitiveness of LMT Ltd and the overall improvement of the energy efficiency of the economy and the reduction of energy intensity. Support under the procedure will be key to realizing the company's investment intentions and will enable the continuation of the transition to a low-carbon development model.It is of key importance both for achieving sustainable growth of the enterprise and for contributing to the overall transformation of the economy towards lower carbon intensity.
