The project of "Traktor" Ltd. Pleven is aimed at increasing the energy efficiency of the building "Repair Workshop", located within the enterprise on ul. "Grivishko Shosse" No1. The company has its main economic activity under code C28.30 – Production of machinery for agriculture and forestry, which falls within the designated national priority sectors according to the National Strategy for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises 2021-2027 (NSMEPA 2021-2027). The company manufactures parts, assemblies, assemblies and end products for heavy machinery, including engines and gearboxes. Although the roof has been repaired, the exterior walls and windows are severely compromised, without insulation and with high levels of infiltration. This leads to significant heat losses, low internal temperatures in winter and unfavorable working conditions for personnel and precision metalworking machines. With the implementation of the project, energy-efficient thermal insulation systems and new windows and doors will be installed, according to the technical requirements of Appendix 4.1. 480 m² of mineral wool insulation and 384 m² of PVC windows with double glazing will be installed. The investment will lead to a reduction in energy consumption fer heating and cooling the warehouse by 25-30%, a reduction in CO₂ emissions by about 40 t per year, as well as an improvement in the microclimate and safety of the working environment. Better working conditions for precision machines and personnel will be provided, as well as stability of production processes. The project is in full compliance with the objectives of procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004, and will contribute to reducing energy intensity, sustainable production and higher competitiveness of the enterprise in the priority sector of mechanical engineering.
