Ekstraplast Ltd., Tryavna is one of the leading manufacturers in the country of construction dowels. The company's production range includes all types of dowels used in construction and household mounting activities, manufactured with high quality and material strength. Established in 1992 in Tryavna, the company started its research and development activities in 2017, producing its own innovative dowel model called EXTRA, designed for installation in hollow bricks. By 2025, the company plans to build its second production facility to accommodate the expanded capacity and ensure the growth of the company. To have a chance for sustainable development in the face of continuously rising raw material and energy prices, the company needs to reduce its production costs. For this purpose, as well as ensuring the energy independence of the enterprise, we plan to install a photovoltaic power plant with a capacity of 80 kW, combined with a local storage unit – a battery with a capacity of 160 kWh. The power plant will be installed on the roof space of the new (company-owned) workshop, and the energy produced by the system will be entirely intended for internal use. The project will be implemented in Plachkovtci within 12 months.
