DAF - TRANS Ltd. is a fast-growing company established in 1993 and engaged in cargo transportation. The company's head office is located in the town of Peshtera. The company has well-maintained DAF heavy-duty trucks and standard flatbed trailers, and for their service and maintenance the company has its own service base and garage premises. DAF - TRANS operates in Bulgaria, Turkey and all of Europe. The increase in the prices of electricity and other energy carriers in recent years has affected pricing and led to an increase in prices, which led to an outflow of customers and a decline in revenues. The result of this was a slowdown in the economic growth of the company and a decrease in our competitiveness in both the domestic and international markets. As part of our strategy to overcome the problems identified in this way with this project proposal, the company plans to build a combined cycle power plant for the production of energy from renewable sources, which includes solar panels, inverters, batteries and all components necessary for the operation of the plant. The electricity produced by the plant will be used to meet the needs of the company's main economic activity and will be entirely for its own consumption. The construction of the new photovoltaic installation will lead to greater energy independence, which will allow for the optimization of resources through the management of electricity costs, will reduce their share in the cost of the services offered by the company, which will allow for more competitive pricing. The expected results of the implementation of the activities envisaged under the project include: - Improving energy efficiency; - Increasing the company's energy independence; - Achieving sustainable development by reducing the carbon footprint and complying with green policies and regulations.
