This project proposal has been developed to meet the need for improving energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources in the production activities of TERA VIVA BULGARIA Ltd. The overall objective of the project proposal is to enhance energy efficiency and increase the share of energy from renewable sources in the company’s operations, with the aim of reducing the carbon footprint, optimizing energy consumption, and supporting the transition toward climate neutrality. The overall goal of the project will be achieved through investments in an energy-efficient thermal insulation system made of sandwich panels with mineral wool insulation for the roof; installation of transparent enclosing structures (windows and doors) with PVC frames covering an area of 20 sq.m.; as well as the construction and commissioning of a photovoltaic power plant (PV system) for self-consumption with an installed capacity of 30 kWp, located in a building leased under a long-term rental contract in the village of Panaretovtsi, Sliven Region, Sliven Municipality, where the company intends to relocate all of its production activities. The expected results from the implementation of the project are related to the reduction of energy costs, improvement of working conditions, reduction of the carbon footprint, and enhancement of the company’s competitiveness through the sustainable and efficient use of energy. The planned investments under the project comply with the “Do No Significant Harm” (DNSH) principle regarding the environment and will contribute to the country’s green transition.
