"ELECTROSTART" JSC. is a company specializing in the production of LED lighting fixtures and components for LED products, electronic ballasts, transformers, ignition devices, electromagnetic products for fluorescent, metal-halide, sodium, mercury and gas-discharge lamps, including plastic production to meet the needs of the product portfolio. Electrostar JSCo is the only manufacturer of ballasts and one of the few manufacturers of LED lighting fixtures and LED components in Bulgaria. Over 90% of production is exported to over 40 countries worldwide. The activity is carried out in its own production facility in the town of Varshets. As a manufacturing enterprise, where energy costs are a significant factor in the formation of the cost price, "ELECTROSTART" AD is faced with challenges related to energy intensity and the dynamics of the prices of electricity and other energy carriers. To address these challenges and in accordance with the objectives of procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 "Energy efficiency and use of energy from renewable sources in enterprises", the project envisages the implementation of investments under items 6, 9 and 11 of the List of eligible asset categories, namely: • Chillers with air-cooled condensers – 2 pcs., each with a capacity of 126 KW; • Screw compressor with inverter control and capacity of 30 KW – 1 pc.; • Refrigerated dryer for compressed air – 1 pc.; The implementation of the project will achieve: • increasing energy efficiency; • reducing carbon emissions; • reducing energy costs; • optimizing production processes through reliable and more efficient provision of compressed air; • ensuring better working conditions for personnel in key production units; • permanent increase in the competitiveness of the enterprise in the target markets. The total investment value is 168 615,42 leva, and the duration of the project is 12 months.
