The project of “Belsystems” Ltd. envisages the implementation of measures for improving energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources at the company’s production facility in Byala, where its main activity under NACE 22.29 – “Manufacture of other plastic products” is carried out. The company specializes in the production of synthetic tarpaulin (PVC coated) products, has over 15 years of experience, a modern production facility, and qualified specialists. With a focus on sustainable development and resource optimization, the company plans to install a photovoltaic power plant with an energy storage battery and to introduce a high-efficiency heat pump system for heating and cooling. The realization of these investments will reduce dependence on non-renewable energy sources, lower energy costs, and improve the overall energy efficiency of the production processes. The expected results of the project include an increase in the share of self-produced green energy, improvement of the indoor climate in production premises, optimization of operating costs, and reduction of the company’s carbon footprint. The investment fully complies with the principle of “Do No Significant Harm” (DNSH) to the environment, meets modern ecological standards, and will support the achievement of national and European goals for decarbonization and the green transition. Through this project, Belsystems Ltd. will strengthen its competitiveness, achieve more sustainable production, and adapt to the requirements of the modern low-carbon economy.
