Description

"Contrast Building" Ltd. operates in the construction sector, which is characterized by high and uneven electricity consumption, especially during the operation of power tools, machinery, and equipment. In the context of unstable energy prices and increasing requirements for energy efficiency, the company faces the need to ensure a more sustainable, independent, and cost-effective energy source that can guarantee stability of its production and administrative processes.
The project envisages the implementation of local energy storage facilities (batteries with a capacity of 100 kWh, combined with inverters) and the installation of photovoltaic panels with inverters with a total capacity of 20 kW for own consumption. This combination will enable the company to produce, store, and efficiently use electricity from renewable sources, thereby reducing its dependence on the external power grid and lowering energy costs.
Target group: the employees and management of "Contrast Building" Ltd.
Indirect target groups: clients, partners, and the local community.
Overall objective:
To enhance the energy efficiency and sustainability of the enterprise through the integration of a renewable energy source and an energy storage system.
Specific objectives:
- Construction of a 20 kW photovoltaic system and a 100 kWh battery module with inverters;
- Optimization of energy consumption and reduction of operating costs;
- Ensuring continuity of power supply;
- Contribution to the green transition and compliance with the DNSH principle
Expected results:
A completed and operational combined system of photovoltaic panels and batteries with inverters; reduced external electricity consumption; lower costs and CO₂ emissions; increased energy independence.
Main activities:
Preparation and technical design; delivery and installation of equipment; integration of photovoltaic panels and batteries; testing and commissioning; project management, monitoring, and publicity.
