The Velingrad Tempo News newspaper began to be published in 1994 and covers local and regional news from all spheres of public life in the municipalities of Velingrad, Rakitovo and Sarnitsa.
In modern conditions, in parallel with the paper edition of the newspaper, it is necessary to strengthen the presence of the media in the online space. Since 2007, materials from the newspaper have been published at www.tempo.velingrad.com. With this project, we will upgrade the media capacity by using specialized software for a publication and video website / Frontend and purchase the necessary server for the technological process.
Part of the project is the creation of mobile applications for iOS and Android, Amazon Fire TV, Smart TV and a streaming and video platform.
The implementation of the project will lead to the expansion of the media audience and access of different and new groups of readers to objective and verified information on issues and topics important to the region, to author's content that meets the criteria of good journalistic practices. The project will also contribute to increasing production capacity and retaining the creative team, which will ensure sustainability in the development of the media.
In addition to being a family enterprise, the main economic activity of the enterprise for 2023 according to the Criminal Code 2008 is 58.13 - Publishing newspapers.
