Description

The project proposal of Bash Maistora OOD is aimed at increasing energy efficiency and optimizing the use of energy from renewable sources by implementing an energy storage system - a battery with a capacity of 120 kW, which will be connected to the existing power plant for own consumption. The main need that will be met is ensuring higher energy independence and achieving a more effective match between electricity production and consumption. The battery will allow for the storage of produced but currently unused energy, which will lead to a reduction in peak loads, optimization of energy flows, reduction of technological losses and reduction of costs for electricity purchased from the grid.
The implementation of the project will enable a more complete and flexible use of the energy produced by the existing power plant, increasing the reliability of the power supply and reducing the risks of interruptions and unpredictable fluctuations in the energy system. The implementation of the battery will also ensure better management of energy resources by enabling balancing of consumption across different time zones.
The expected results of the project include a significant reduction in the carbon footprint, higher resource efficiency and contribution to achieving sustainable growth. Along with the environmental benefits, the project will also lead to an economic effect – lower operating costs, higher predictability of energy costs and increased competitiveness of the company in the market.
In the long term, the project will contribute to strengthening the energy independence of Bash Maistora OOD, will support the achievement of national and European goals for energy efficiency and climate neutrality and will establish the company as a responsible and sustainable business, implementing innovative solutions in the field of energy management.
