“ELIT – TIM – SECURITY” Ltd. is a small enterprise specialized in technical security systems (NACE 80.20). The company’s administrative and operational base is located in Vratsa, 1 “Ostri Vrah” Street, in office premises leased under a long-term contract since 2016. The building accommodates both the administrative staff and the central monitoring station for video surveillance and control, which requires uninterrupted power supply to guarantee the security services provided to clients. In recent years, the company has taken initial steps towards energy independence by installing a photovoltaic system for self-consumption. However, due to the absence of energy storage capacity, part of the generated electricity remains unused, while the site continues to rely entirely on grid supply during peak consumption and power outages. This project proposes the installation of a local energy storage facility – battery with inverter, integrated with the existing PV system. This investment will enable the company to store the generated renewable energy and use it during peak demand or in case of grid failures, thereby ensuring: -reduction of electricity costs through optimal use of self-generated energy; - increased energy independence and uninterrupted operation of critical monitoring and security services; - lower carbon footprint through more efficient use of renewable energy; - a sustainable and secure working environment for the company’s staff. The main project activities include delivery and installation of the battery and inverter, integration with the existing PV system, commissioning, and implementation of visibility measures in line with the programme requirements. Expected results include the commissioning of a high-efficiency energy storage facility, leading to optimized energy consumption, reduced operating costs, and strengthened sustainability of the company’s operations in line with the objectives of procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004
