"Ata Stroy" Ltd. is a construction company from the city of Sofia. Haskovo with over 20 years of experience in residential, public and infrastructure construction. The company owns a concrete unit, which operates with activity code 23.63 Production of ready-made concrete mixtures. The unit is key to the activity and is distinguished by high energy consumption caused by the operation of electric motors, compressors, mixers, conveyor belts and heating systems. The average monthly electricity consumption is about 7 MWh, and the load is uneven and depends on the production volume and climatic conditions. In order to reduce energy dependence and cost optimization, the project envisages the construction of: - Photovoltaic panels with inverters with a capacity of 25 kW - Local energy storage facilities with a capacity of 108 kWh with separate inverters. The energy produced by the photovoltaic panels will be used entirely for the concrete center's own needs. The batteries will be connected to the system and will store the produced but unused energy, supplying it to consumers during peak loads, as well as during the hours with reduced sunshine (cloudy weather, morning, evening). The expected annual electricity production is about 25–28 MWh, which will cover approximately 30–35% of the concrete unit's needs. The installation will be installed on the available roof space of the service building, where no more panels can be located, despite the need for even greater energy supply. The implementation of the project will lead to a reduction in energy costs by 15-20%, a reduction in carbon emissions by about 10-12 t CO₂ per year and an increase in the energy sustainability of the site. The project is fully compliant with the objectives of Procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 "Energy Efficiency and Use of Energy from Renewable Sources", contributing to the reduction of the carbon footprint, stability of energy supplies and increased competitiveness of Ata Stroy EOOD.
