Programme: Programme "Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises" 2021-2027

Planning region: All

Description

This project proposal is aimed at increasing the competitiveness of GRS Global Management Ltd. through support for the use of energy from renewable sources. GRC Global Management Ltd. is a highly specialized consulting company headquartered in Sofia and Plovdiv, focused on combining management consulting with technological innovations. The need for support under the procedure is based on the need to provide a sustainable source of renewable electricity for the implementation of the innovative project of "GRS Global Governance" EOOD to create in Bulgaria a high-tech automated center for governance, risk and compliance (GRC – Governance, Risk, Compliance) of pan-European importance, designed for processing sensitive client information and for centralizing the company's currently distributed information and communication systems in Sofia and Plovdiv. This center will be built in a specialized air-conditioned container located in a solar park in the Bansko region, equipped with controlled access systems, intelligent cooling and uninterruptible power supply. The installed ICT infrastructure will include high-performance server systems, enterprise-class network devices and energy-optimized data storage systems (Storage Arrays). The server systems will be powered primarily by a photovoltaic power system with a peak power of 77.22 kWp, combined with a battery buffer with a capacity of about 122.88 kWh, which will allow covering up to 70% of the site's energy needs through its own renewable production. On this basis, it is expected to increase the productivity and efficiency of the company "GRS Global Management" EOOD, reduce costs, increase competitiveness and reduce the energy intensity of the enterprise.
